A free webinar in conjunction with 香蕉福利直播 Associate, TLT LLP

Many societies will be familiar with claims/complaints/defences arising from pseudo-legal arguments and the significant time and costs involved in responding to these arguments. Arguments such as these are very likely to fail and, as a result, put customers at significant risk of adverse costs.

A recent High Court case has sent a strong message to customers (and their advisors) that bring claims/complaints/defences of this nature against lenders.

In this webinar, Heff Heathcote & Alanna Tregear (TLT) will provide an overview of the legal landscape together with sharing best practice when it comes to dealing with such claims/complaints/defences. The session will also look ahead to what more can be done to assist customers and will encourage discussion around the topic.

Who should attend?
Anyone working with customers that may be impacted by arrears in their home, or at risk of having their home possessed by their mortgage lender and anyone working in the vulnerable customer space.  Also anyone within the legal industry working with mortgage lenders.

Speakers:

  • Heff Heathcote, Partner, TLT, LLP
  • Alanna Tregear, Partner, TLT, LLP
  • Robin Webb, Policy Manager Mortgages & Housing, 香蕉福利直播
